Hannah 10th September 2012

Hi Dad, it was your anniversary last Thursday. I went with Mum to your burial ground. It was sunny and beautiful, we tried (probably unsuccessfully) to find your spot, I could imagine you watching and sniggering at how we always walk around like aimless sheep, never finding the right spot! We went for lunch afterwards at the Farmer's Arms, near Ogmore, by the pond - one of your old favourites. It has been redecorated inside, but still resembles the old pub that you enjoyed. The following day I received an offer from the Open University to accept my degree, I have accepted a BA with honours in History and my classification was confirmed as being First Class Honours. I wish so very much that I could tell you in person, I know how happy you would be to hear this. I might have a ceremony, accept my degree wearing the cap and gown - you would love that! I miss you so much Dad and think of you daily. Love you so very, very much, Han xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
